what’s the best solution for me?
With our tropical Brisbane climate it’s hard to not see the benefits of air conditioning. When the heat in your home is trapped all day, air conditioning (at least) your bedroom is like ensuring you have a perfect night’s sleep every night.
Air Conditioning works by removing the heat from the indoor air and passing it across a refrigerant coil. The heat is then transferred to the outdoor unit and this continues until the temperature reaches your ideal setting.
Of course, not all air conditioning solutions suit all situations. At Star Air Conditioning we guarantee you will find the best solution to your needs – and yes, size does matter!
Heating and cooling capacity is measured in kilowatts (kW) and the size you require depends on the size of the room; a unit too small will not perform adequately, a system too large and it will cool or heat the room before it has a chance to dehumidify.
Another choice to make is whether to install a split system air conditioning unit (ideal for specific rooms) or a ducted air conditioning system (ideal for the entire home with minimal visual impact).
